Afternoon tea was disappointing and they need to get a better recipe for scones! The room was very nice but the view out of the window is awful car park, pile of chain fencing and mobile phone mast to look at, such a shame it could be made very nice. I would rather go to our small coffee shop.
Visited Tapton hall at different times for both jive dancing & funeral wake, nice place for both occasions, staff friendly, efficient on dance nights & sympathetic & considerate at the wake. Plenty of free parking bar prices competitive.
Was lovely venue for my cousin’s wedding reception. Drinks reasonably priced. Excellent customer service.

Attended a wedding here. So lucky to get a beautiful sunny day. I loved the red brick of the Chimney House and the interior design was subtle, stylish and well thought out. We had to climb some steep stairs to the wedding room.
Overall, we did have an amazing day and I’m glad we chose The Chimney House. Don’t let my negative comments put you off. I’m just giving an honest account but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue.
Lovely venue for a wedding in the grounds of the kelham island museum , close to the famous fat cat pub , staff are very attentive and the old industrial feel of the building only lends itself to the ambience of this space ,

Fantastic place for events. We had a corporate event hosted here and the food was amazing. So much so that the chef got a round of applause from the attendees for exceptional food.
If you’re looking for a hidden gem for a private / business function then The Mowbray is ideal. Great atmosphere & decoration, lovely buffet, and fantastic, friendly service.
Lovey venue for a weddings or a private party in the heart of the kelham island, the artisan area of Sheffield , Surrounded by industrial Heritage of this great city of steel highly recommended.
