This is a very good veterinary clinic. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. My cat was very poorly recently and their care and diagnosis was excellent.

What We Offer:

Hallam Veterinary Centre has been established since the 1950s. In 2002 we stopped seeing equine and farm animal patients and concentrated solely on companion animal health. We endeavor to provide a high standard of veterinary care for small animals in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on having sufficient experience to deal with the vast majority of cases in house, without the need to refer cases out of town. We provide a long standing cardiology referral service, which is available to our own clients without additional referral fees. We also have the capability to deal with more complicated orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical procedures.

Great vet practice. Have always been really helpful, friendly and kind especially during the most difficult times with our pets. Pets have always been really well cared for. Moved to this practice after a horrid experience at a different practice in town, really glad we moved, will definitely stay with this vet now.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Maybe the cat doesn’t like visiting here but I am always happy with our visits.
I’ve had pets for 30 years and so have been to plenty of vets over the years. This was my closest veterinary clinic when I moved to sheffield, but now wouldn’t go anywhere else. It is a tad expensive compared to others in the area, but I always feel like my animals are getting the best care, so I don’t mind. I’ve seen a fair few of the vets, and whilst most have been great.

The care that me and my two cats received today for routine health checks and vaccinations is probably the best we’ve ever had. Di on reception was friendly, funny and very considerate. Olivia, the vet, was incredible. She was thoughtful and took time to cover all bases, questions and concerns. She was very charismatic and I really got the sense that she loves her job and cares deeply for her patients.
I stopped using a previous vet because they were heavily reliant on locums and I was getting an inconsistent service. I’ve only been to Springfield once so far but it was very professional and had the personal touch I was looking for, even while carefully observing social distancing. Very happy.
Really kind friendly staff, even phoned the taxi company for me.
