Went for the Retro Football Fair. Great venue for the event. Big enough space for all the stalls to be accessible for all. Well lit, good toilets and a bar to boot. Very much enjoyed the fair and will be going back soon.

Recently visited the venue for a retro football fair and the venue was easy enough to locate (that said I used to work close by many moons ago) and easy enough to navigate around. The room holding the event was quite small for the number of stalls on offer but manageable, and had a bar (although didn’t see anyone serving). The location is great for events though as plenty of good places in the local area to also head afterwards.

Been a couple of times recently for a mates birthday and a beer festival. It’s a fine venue, pretty big, serves beer. Toilets are a bit grim but they work fine. It’s as good as the do they put on I guess. But I’ve enjoyed it both times I’ve been.

Attended a wedding here. So lucky to get a beautiful sunny day. I loved the red brick of the Chimney House and the interior design was subtle, stylish and well thought out. We had to climb some steep stairs to the wedding room.

Overall, we did have an amazing day and I’m glad we chose The Chimney House. Don’t let my negative comments put you off. I’m just giving an honest account but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue.

Lovely venue for a wedding in the grounds of the kelham island museum , close to the famous fat cat pub , staff are very attentive and the old industrial feel of the building only lends itself to the ambience of this space ,

The Spiegeltent is a venue I’m familiar with from Edinburgh so it’s great to see it in different settings, holding a variety of events! Stunning place. Saw the Drag Race viewing/drag ball and had the best time, thank you all! I’ll be there for NYE as well with Dutty Moonshine – going to be a blast.

We recently had our wedding reception at the Hide!. It has been the best decision we have made! Absolutely amazing from start to finish. It’s so unique, and full of character there really is nowhere like this in Sheffield! The Hide was exactly what we were looking for and it delivered in bucket loads.

We requested an all vegan menu which was delicious (even the non-vegan guests were very impressed – the evening hotdogs went down a treat) and the drinks were also great. The staff are so friendly and overall the whole reception had such positive party energy which wouldn’t have been possible without Trudi, Justine and everyone at The Hide.
