I’ve recently had a Cortisone injection in my hip and can’t recommend Active Healthcare Sheffield enough. I’ve suffered for the past 2 to 3 years but this last year has been really bad. I asked my doctor if steroids would help and he said flat out, No. I eventually contacted Active and booked an appointment. I was talked through the procedure and told that it might work but there were no guarantees as each person is different. I decided to go ahead. After 3 days I could feel a difference. After a week there is a massive reduction in pain.
After suffering for nearly two years with my knee I contacted Active Health and saw Chris absolutely amazing , thank you so much he gave me an injection in my knee and within a day I was pain free. I would highly recommend Active Health and would never suffer again.
Had the Kenalog hayfever injection here as cheaper than most other places and Chris was a lot more thorough and professional with the procedure and I believe it has helped more than the previous injections I’ve had in past years. Recommend to anyone wanting the hayfever injection.

I brought my son here having reflux issues. When I arrived I came into clean covid safe environment. I was placed at ease and asked relevant detailed questions. Treatment was done shortly after. This was painless and gentle. My son couldn’t tolerate laying down so Chris did it with him sitting in my arms. There was good aftercare too when i asked questions over email. Thank you.
I took my 4 week old to see Chris and had a very positive experience. The clinic itself is very clean and welcoming. They have lots of covid protocols which I really appreciated as it made things feel very safe. We talked things through first before Chris checked/treated my daughter. This put me at ease and helped me to understand the process. The treatment was very gentle and Chris was great with her. I would definitely recommend the practice. I didn’t take my first child and still regret it to this day.
We saw Chris after our baby (born by C section) was experiencing colicky/reflux/feeding issues. We have noticed a huge difference since our very first session. She is now much more content and her feeding is significantly improved. Chris has such a calm and warm presence which our little one loved. We cant thank Chris and the team at the Osteopathic Practice enough.

Very professional practice. Vanessa, the osteopath is very helpful and an excellent osteopath. Many people think of osteopathy just for a bad back, but I have found that it can help many different types of aches, pains and tension. Also, I have recently visited the podiatrist for the first time and have already booked my second visit as I also found her to be very professional.
Just tried the chiropodist, Haleema, for the first time and was very impressed- she is very thorough and professional. Also, I have been receiving osteopathic treatment from Vanessa for several years and she is excellent. Having tried several other osteopaths in the past, I am confident that she is very good at what she does.
Excellent work by Vanessa, I visited Abbeydale health with a back/sciatica problem, after 3 sessions of osteopathy I was moving better and had less pain.
