Lovely little place that we wouldn’t have even noticed had we not stopped to pick up some Dr Martens. Stuff for every budget, formed most of our gift buying while we were away! Range of stuff from local sources and also national sources like Topple and Burn which I am already very familiar with. The amazing woman also gave us some free tote bags after we stayed in almost right up until closing.
Absalutley love this shop, popped in today and the shop is fantastic . If you want an unique gift that’s all things Yorkshire or Sheffield it’s the place to go, was so delighted told the woman in the shop and she ended up being a total legend and the owner we will be back my wax melts smell amazing.
super cute shop with a ton of local-made stuff. very quirky, homey vibes. the workers where all the sweetest, i come here every-time i go to sheffield and ive never had a bad experience.

Hi, we’re Within Reason. We’re a beautiful lifestyle shop in Sheffield. We combine an eclectic mix of familiar brands such as One Hundred Stars, Lisbeth Dahl, Jellycat, PIP, Hultquist, Mirabelle and Caro; with lesser known brands. Established over 20 years ago, our aim is to find affordable artisan goods for the home and gifts for friends. We are continually adding new lines to our stock sometimes a little chaotic but always fresh and unexpected.  Here at Within Reason we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, attention to detail and wide array of products. The company was founded over 30 years ago by Rona and Heather: two sisters who’ve been running a bricks and mortar store out of Sheffield since then.

We have been trading at our lovely little store now for 13 years, selling a wide range of beautiful greeting cards, unusual gifts and balloons. I am the owner Johanne and i am still as passionate about our shop and products as when i first started. My staff, Karen and Sarah, are friendly and helpful. We all want to create a wonderful shopping experience for personalised gifts for family and friends. We’re always looking for something a little bit different to bring to our lovely customers old and new. 13 Years on and I have decided to open a website. Lovely shop. I phoned for a special helium balloon. Lots of helpful advice and the balloon I went to pick up was great.
Great little shop packed with loads of amazing gifts ,cards and everything you could need for a celebration. I popped in to get some balloons after seeing the beautiful display in the window and was greeted by a lovely lady who helped me choose the best balloons and little gifts . Very reasonable pricing and some very unique items in the shop . Definitely will be my first choice in the future .
Still such a fab little card and gift shop. I generally get all my cards from Just For You. I had a card personalised for my daughter’s 30th at the suggestion of Sarah, one of the staff, which was a really lovely touch. I was so pleased with the results. Thanks to Sarah and Johanne for brilliant ideas and service.
