We have used Nicholas Elliott in the conveyancing of buying and selling our properties. I have always found Nick to be professional, competent, and approachable. His communication was excellent throughout the whole process.
I Bought my first property recently and off the back parents previously using Nick and singing his praises got in touch half way through using a different solicitor. The other solicitors were recommended via the mortgage brokers and upon researching discovered awful reviews and had a HUGE fee (I was buying my council house so pretty straight forward in terms of buying and the fees seemed far too high ) Nick quoted me half this price and got straight to work. Was always happy to help, always keeping me updated , always happy to explain thing in layman’s terms . I was first time buyer and absolutely clueless. I also run a business and have bipolar disorder and was quite worried about entering into buying a house alone with these pressures and I can honestly say I believe Nick made this a very different, absolute stress free process which would have most probably not been the case without him.
We can’t recommend Odette and this company enough. Odette was very thorough, extremely knowledgeable, approachable and always on hand if we needed her. She did a fantastic job and it has been a pleasure working with her. We will absolutely be back in the future should we need a law firm.

I’ve just been through an extremely time pressured sale and purchase and Niki Middleton worked absolute miracles. Nicola Bailey guided me through buying my home in 2020. She kept me updated regarding delays and answered any questions I had. Nicola knew I was concerned about leasehold agreements and escalating future costs so made sure I had this information before purchasing the home. Nicola always used language I understood but without being patronising. I’ve recommended this firm to several friends since 2020 and would definitely use them again myself when I next need a solicitor.
I really cannot recommend this firm highly enough. They acted for me in a conveyancing transaction and were professional and efficient at all times. They were easy to contact and did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Although the transaction proved to be more complex than first expected and involved more work on their part they stuck to the originally quoted fee. Overall a thoroughly trustworthy and reliable firm.
