What We Offer:

Sheffield City Boxing Club was formed in 2010 following the merger of Woodseats Boxing Club and Sharrow Boxing Club. In this short space of time the club has gained an enviable reputation within the boxing community producing numerous County Champions, National Champions and most recently, three representatives for the Team GB development squad. Situated just 5 minutes walk from the city centre, with ample free parking, the gym is easily accessible to all. Catering for every level, from beginner to elite fighters, the gym doors are open to everyone. Classes cost just £2.50 per session and include non-contact sessions. If you’re simply looking to get fit or you would like to try your hand in the ring in a safe and supportive environment, Sheffield City Boxing Club welcomes you.

First visited on a Saturday morning, very busy but a great bunch of folk. Been going in the week and once again great people. I must say that the head coach Brendan is such a fantastic example to everyone a true gentleman so knowledgable and skilled, fantastic.

First timer, wow what a workout, really enjoyed it, will be going again soon. Found muscles I didn’t know I had in years.

Very nice, good activity for kids, they have all kind of classes on budget price.

What We Offer:

Laces Boxing Club is located in S8 on Little London Road. Our new home is the old Stokes Paint factory and the gym is steeped in history and tradition. Our members and coaches are welcoming and supportive and every class is suitable for ALL levels of fitness, experience and confidence. Laces started with a primary vision of offering a welcoming, low cost gym to the community, a place for children to increase confidence, improve fitness and have fun. Steadfast in that vision the search was on for a new premise.  We want to help you achieve your goals, discover all of our club’s offerings here. A few weeks passed and we weren’t sure if we would find a new home and our attentions turned closer to home and we were invited to view the mysterious old factory across the road.

I’ve always wanted to do boxing but felt extremely intimidated by Boxing Clubs. I have to say I don’t regret going to this one. Everyone is lovely and supportive, including the staff, and they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The classes are affordable (but they are very good, a GREAT workout) and I haven’t stopped going ever since my first time 🙂
Great gym and range of sessions available. Felt a bit intimidated before the first class but Jono and the team made me feel so welcomed and at ease. There’s a warm and friendly atmosphere, really enjoy coming here 🙂
Love this gym! Jono is a quality bloke and always welcoming, Laces is a great set up. Fantastic atmosphere with characters from all walks of life. Cant rate it highly enough.
