Brilliant experience! My sister and I went recently, she led Jefe the Lama and I had Theo the alpaca who were both very entertaining. The trek was very well organised with guides monitoring and controlling traffic on the few occasions we were on the road.
Absolutely loved going on the Alpaca/Llama walk on 9/8/22. Beautiful trails to walk along, and the alpacas were very well behaved. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and even let us say hello to the chickens and pigs after we had finished the walk.
Wonderful experience. Took my Granddaughters and my grown up daughters and we all had a fantastic time. Walking with an alpaca is such a fun thing to do but also very calming and enchanting. The volunteers are so friendly and helpful and the whole experience was really well organised.

Millennium Square

St Paul's Pl, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1, United Kingdom
What We Offer:

Millennium Square is a modern city square in Sheffield, England. It was created as part of the Heart of the City project that began in 1998 and has become a central feature in Sheffield’s redeveloped city centre. Millennium Square is situated between two of Sheffield’s most popular public spaces, the Peace Gardens and Winter Garden, and was designed by architects Allies and Morrison. It contains a piece of public art called Rain, created by sculptor Colin Rose. The sculpture features 9 large Sheffield stainless steel spheres varying in sizes up to 2m in diameter, which were intended to suggest drops of rain that have just landed on the surface of the square. They sparkle at night due to dozens of colour changing LED lights set in the paving, and into the rim of the pools under each of the steel ball ‘raindrops’.

More of an L shaped area than a square. Mistle thrushes regularly nest on the lamp posts and goldfinches in the trees.
Millennium Square is a modern city square in Sheffield, England. Created as part of the Heart of the City project that began in 1998 it has become a central feature in Sheffield’s redeveloped city centre. It contains fountains in the shape of steel spheres, recalling Sheffield’s past as a centre of the steel making industry, whilst linking with the fountains of the Peace Gardens, as well as Sheaf Square, Hallam Square and Barkers Pool. The square forms part of the ‘Gold Route’, designed by Sheffield City Council to guide visitors through the city centre from Sheffield Station to Devonshire Green.
Central location. If your new to the city a good starting place to start exploring. Coffee & restaurants available for those wanting not go further a field. Winter gardens & museums close by.

Beautifully presented little art gallery on the edge of the city centre. Friendly and knowledgable staff and comfortable surroundings make this place a welcome oasis – as others have said – in a sometimes bleak and modern landscape.
Plenty of interesting art to get up close to, in a lovely setting. And you need only to give a donation to go round. Nice little gift shop. Friendly staff.
Really worth a visit. I spent quite some time admiring the wonderful art and the exhibitions change frequently. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will be visiting more in the near future.
