In 1995, Michael Joyce Upholstery set up shop to sell reupholstered antique furniture in Sheffield. 20 years on, we operate a diverse reupholstery and restoration company. We refurbish bars, restaurants, and hotels. However, we will give an individual heirloom antique, exactly the same care and attention. We have a small, dedicated and experienced team, headed by Michael Joyce. The first person you will deal with at the enquiry stage, is Michael. Throughout the entire process, to the delivery of the finished article and beyond, you will receive his full attention. The before and after pictures say it all. Buying brand new furniture to the standard of what we now have would have been far more expensive than what we paid to Michael. If you’re thinking of reupholstering, give Michael a call and you won’t be disappointed.

I have a sofa that I didn’t just want upholstery work done I also wanted the foam cushions cut as it was one long cushion which I wanted chopped into 2 then I wanted it to look like it never happened.. . Michael was very good at communicating with me and working through a plan . The work was done in no time and my sofa looks perfect. You would never even know it had been cut etc . Thank you so much . Perfect service and that doesn’t happen very often.

Michael has done a fantastic job on our sofas. Excellent craftsmanship. He provided lots of advice on design and materials and completed the work quickly as not to leave us without furniture for more than a few days. Would highly recommend him.

Got 2 replacement for my sofa seat cushion from them. The service is great. Received my product the very next day. Only wished they would have considered the price a little.

I contacted Talbots to enquire about a repair to my chair. I received a response within the hour and range of quotes and suggestions on how to repair. They came out today to repair the chair. Very professional, quick and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend.

Fabulous people to deal with. Quality of product is amazing. Had my sofa from them for years, it’s still like new so the are reupholstering it to accommodate my change of colour scheme in the lounge. Would highly recommend.

Sorry at the time it looked closed , victim of covid I suspect . However it is open the family has aways shopped here over the years with great furniture and great service.
