We ate at Chez Lahlou for the first time tonight after recommendations from a few friends. Wow! The food was amazing, large portions and delicious. We ordered 2 courses each but didn’t realise that we would get complimentary garlic bread and chicken wings too – we were stuffed and had to have our mains packed up to take home. We will definitely be back.
Been to chez lahlou for the first time tonight with some friends , it was there choice as they been many times before but was my first time and I would highly recommend. Great service. Friendly welcoming staff . The food is very decent potions and price and very tasty and they provide a lot of sides extra on tables while you wait for your food which is really generous. Will 100% be back. Thank you for such a great evening.
The lady was on her own serving us was very polite and helpful and non stop serving everyone. All im all.the food was sensational and id recommend this restaurant to anyone. Word of warning though make sure you turn up on an empty stomach so you can finish your meal.

Absolutely loved this, the food was delicious, and came out looking sensational. We went for the prestige meal, which is 7 courses. The staff were amazing couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely go again.
Although Tessa Bramley has been Chef Patron at The Old Vicarage for over thirty years, my relationship goes back even further, in fact another decade, so there’s a long history of fine dining, and I can honestly say things only get better.
Attended the wedding of my sister today ..what a beautiful venue idyllic scenery and amazing food. The service was second to none.

Amazing experience. All dishes were exceptional. Relaxed approach without being too informal. Staff were super friendly and decor and layout felt intimate and cosy without being cramped. Absolutely loved it! A must try for any food enthusiast.
I have a large appetite and this place would not normally be my choice of place to go,this however was a special occasion so made the sacrifice and went along.to be fair everything was absolutely amazing,each course was an adventure that was packed full of surprises and each and every course was enjoyed by the whole table.
If I could give this place 6 stars then I most definitely would! Incredible service, ambience, and experience. The waiters were so attentive, taking the time to explain each and every dish that was presented. The combination of textures, flavours, and presentation of each dish was carefully thought out, and the wine pairing went down a treat. Might I say the one of the best restaurants I’ve had in the UK. Well done Jöro Team.
