What We Offer:

Bizzy Bee Family Childcare Centre stands in its own grounds overlooking fields and views of Rother Valley Country Park. The building was purpose built in 2004 and is well tucked away from busy roads. The Nursery has three childcare rooms which have been specially designed for each age range of children. All rooms offer a wide range of age and stage appropriate, stimulating activities that are aimed to educate through play and help children develop skills that are set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Each nursery room opens out onto our spacious, highly secure garden, where children can enjoy the freshness of outdoors on a daily basis. We provide plenty of equipment to help support children’s learning.

My eldest child attended the nursery from nearly 3 years old to leaving for school and now my youngest has started from the age of 10 months. Both children settled really fast and bonded with the staff straight away. My youngest appears to really enjoy her time in the baby room and all the staff are lovely. They are always clear about the day she has had at pick up times.
I have used Bizzy Bees for many years for all 3 of my children. The staff are lovely and become like family to the kids. Their communication is excellent and provide updates on children’s development regularly. I always feel my children are safe whilst in their care. I would definitely recommend this nursery.
Our daughter has attended the Nursery since she was 9 months old. From being small to now as she approaches 3, the Team have always been extremely supportive. They have responded well to her allergy needs and the challenges of the pandemic, ensuring the setting continues to be a very safe place for all.

Our son has been going to Once Upon a Time Daycare for around one and a half years. We’ve been very impressed. They have very good staff who keep us well-informed about our son’s progress. He really likes going there. The food menu is varied and all made in-house. They have great garden areas and loads of imaginative activities for our son to engage in both indoors and outside.
We think once upon a time is great. Our son really enjoys himself every time he goes and looks forward to going. He settled in quickly as the staff got to know him and his interests. The friendly staff always keep the children well stimulated with a variety of activities. Our son loves the soft play area they have.

The staff have prepared him well for reception class due to start this September.

Both my children attend Hydra Tots and have thrived and love their time there. I’m a busy working mum and it’s so reassuring to know they are happy and safe when at nursery. When my son started as a 1 year old he was struggling with separation anxiety from me. The team worked with us and it wasn’t long before he loved going to nursery. He will be leaving this summer, a confident little boy totally prepared for school and I know my daughter will too when her time comes. Definitely recommend considering this nursery for your children.
Both of my children have attended Hydra Tots. All of the rooms are fun, clean and age appropriate with the right level of structure. This is what encouraged us to send our girls in the first place. The care the nursery provide is brilliant in every room, you get the impression they really care about your child and their development, we get full report at the end of every day and they take particular notice of their interests.
The staff care deeply about the children and give detailed accounts of our daughter’s experiences each day. The rooms are exciting and interesting to engage her and she loves spending time there with her friends and familiar adults.
